This was another
really fun basement project. The homeowners are
extremely creative and working together to bring their
dreams into reality was a real pleasure.
We incorporated curves into the project with a
sweeping S-curve between the VCT tile and carpet. We
installed a curved laminate countertop and used the
same type material on the walls underneath the
countertop for added effect. Curves were also used on
the stair railing complimenting the overall
appearance.
We built a "tray" type ceiling to give the illusion of
increased height. We opened up the stairway to give
the feeling of increased space and openness. We used a
VCT flooring material in the living area and included
a surround sound system in order to give the family a
place to relax and play. |
